چکیده
We consider the task of faithfully simulating a distributed quantum measurement, wherein we provide protocol for three parties, Alice, Bob and Eve, to simulate repeated action measurement using pair non-product approximating measurements by Alice Bob, followed stochastic mapping at Eve. The objective is utilize minimum resources, in terms classical bits needed communicate their outcomes common randomness shared among while independent instances original measurement. To achieve this, develop mutual covering lemma technique random binning measurements, and, turn, characterize set sufficient communication rates required asymptotic simulatability single-letter information quantities. Furthermore, these results address rate-distortion problem, where achievable region through inner bound. Finally, via single-letterization multi-letter quantities, an outer bound region.

Rate Distortion Analysis in Distributed Video Coding
In recent years, distributed video coding emerged as an alternative to conventional video coding. While conventional video coding is based on motion estimation and compensation, distributed video coding makes use of the principles of distributed source coding developed by Wyner and Ziv. In this paper, we investigate the rate distortion tradeoffs in distributed video coding. We present a model f...
متن کاملDistortion-Rate for Non-Distributed and Distributed Estimation Problems
Wireless sensor networks are characterized by strict energy and bandwidth constraints, which motivate efficientcompression schemes. The distortion incurred due to compression is an important metric for determining performanceof reconstruction or estimation algorithms implemented at the fusion center based on observations collected atindividual sensors. For the single-sensor link wit...
متن کاملOptimizing Teleportation Cost in Multi-Partition Distributed Quantum Circuits
There are many obstacles in quantum circuits implementation with large scales, so distributed quantum systems are appropriate solution for these quantum circuits. Therefore, reducing the number of quantum teleportation leads to improve the cost of implementing a quantum circuit. The minimum number of teleportations can be considered as a measure of the efficiency of distributed quantum systems....
متن کاملDistortion-Rate Analysis for Distributed Estimation with Wireless Sensor Networks†
We deal with centralized and distributed rate-constrained estimation of random signal vectors using a network of wireless sensors communicating with a fusion center. Specifically, we determine lower and upper bounds for the Distortion-Rate (D-R) function. The lower bound is obtained by considering centralized estimation with a single-sensor setup, for which we determine the D-R function in clos...
متن کاملQuantum Rate-Distortion Theory for I.I.D. Sources
We consider a natural distortion measure based on entanglement fidelity and find the exact rate-distortion function for isotropic sources. An upper bound is found in the case of biased sources which we believe to be exact. We conclude that optimal rate-distortion codes for this measure produce no entropy exchange with the environment of any individual qubit.
